Care BC 125th Anniversary Gala

As a founding branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses of Canada, the Health and Home Care Society of BC (Care BC) has been serving BC communities with relevant, preventive and supportive health and social services since 1898. To celebrate its 125th anniversary, a Gala was held on Saturday October 28, at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront. Event branding and all associated website and printed/digital assets were produced by Mayfair Creative Studio.
At the heart of the core event graphic is Care BC's emblem, the dogwood flower. For striking contrast, the crisp flower image is set against a black background. Gold treatment of the serif typeface conveys a feeling of classic elegance befitting a gala event. Inclusion of the Chinese characters for 'anniversary' is in recognition of the community's enduring support for this important cause.
